In 2007, M&C Saatchi was approached by the City of Beverly Hills to refresh the iconic Beverly Hills logo.
Wanting to keep the overall aesthetic of the shield design, the typography and color palettes were standardized for use across the many different departments of the City. Detailing and flourishes were added as well as a polished, rendered finish that is meant to highlight the upscale experience one can find in Beverly Hills.
Today this logo can be found everywhere in Beverly Hills. On street signs, emergency vehicles, manhole covers and parking tickets just to name a few. In 2019 they just started replacing the "gateways" to Beverly Hills with this version of the logo.
